My diary

This term team 5 is learning about technology, We have build or create something that is needed for our school. Me and my group of friends decided that we needed to think out of the box, so we thought for two days and we came up with ten amazing ideas we could do to help our school. Then we had to present our ten ideas and surprisingly our teacher loved all of them, so then we had to choose our top favourites and then it was the compost bin. Term 3 reflection

Today I’ll be talking about this term. This term has been very busy with Sports, Making movies, and doing Mighty has been so fun. Sports keeps us students active and have a positive mindset, whenever we go to sports we versus schools that are very competitive we always stay humble and finish  strong. My highlight of the term was when  we were filming our Manaia Kalani video was so funny I couldn’t hold  my laugh in, and now my  low light of this term was when  we lost our games at Auckland champs. Fit For Purpose

Task description: This term our theme for school was fit for purpose, we had nine week’s to get this finished. I tried to finish but couldn’t because I wanted there to be more detail to the drawings. This was a fight but I pushed through and finished off properly, this experience was fun although it was very frustrating and hard to edit, so please if you comment make sure it’s positive Ka Kite ra:).

Give Forever

Today i was reading a book based on a man that was homeless. His name is Zuhaib and he has helped homeless people around New Zealand and Pakistan, he gives them free food if they can’t afford anything in his shop. He provides as much food as they want because he has been in this condition before he came to  New Zealand. He lived in a very small town that is located in Pakistan Parachina. He moved to New Zealand because where he was living was a very dangerous place even his wife died from this disturbing matter. My speech

 

Medium earrings, necklaces, bracelets, mufti hats, mufti jumpers, and an ankle bracelet. Why are we not allowed to wear these beautiful accessories to school?

I think  we should be allowed to wear all these jewellery at school. The teachers say that we are only  allowed to wear these if it’s part of our tradition or if our parents have a chat with our teachers. How does it affect our learning towards school? So then if I take off the ankle bracelet then  I’ll become smarter, or I’ll have a good attitude.

 

Why do I think we should be allowed to wear these accessories?  This is because I think that wearing our uniform to school is boring and that wearing mufti is a way to express our own personal style and individuality. Why? Because we wear the same uniform every day. Wearing accessories gives our confidence a boost and makes us feel a certain way. We stand taller, we feel more confident to be ourselves and express ourselves better.

 

Second of all, Why do the teachers say that wearing medium hoop earrings is inappropriate for our age? I think that should only be for big hoop earrings just for safety reasons. Medium hoop earrings make a much better fashion statement than the small ones. Big hoop earrings I understand would be a safety issue because it could get caught on something while we are playing.

 

Finally, is it safe for us students to be wearing earrings? Yes, gold earrings are great at promoting the healing of skin ailments such as dermatitis and eczema, as well as conditions like acne. Thanks to the blood circulation-enhancing benefits of gold earrings, wearing gold jewellery is also said to help with skin diseases and skin disorders. 

 

So based on all these facts or reasons, I believe we should approach Mrs Nua and Mr Burt and ask them to allow us to wear gold hoop earrings together with our uniform so we can look like amazing Pt Englander’s with style!

 

 

 

Today i’ll be sharing with you my speech that I have presented in front of my whole entire literacy class, when I first got up and said my speech I was proud for all of the work i put in my speech. I was really proud and was happy how I presented my speech, I thought that this would be a piece of cake but it was actually kind of nerve racking. But I believed that I could present my speech and I did it, I just wanted this to be over with. And lastly when I writing my speech it took me three weeks to finish, please leave a positive comment.

The Greenhouse gases are just like the greenhouse you 

Can grow plants inside, but instead of keeping the heat inside this greenhouse is bigger than the normal ones.It raps around the earth like a blanket.

 

 There are four gases that make the greenhouse. The first one is called Water vapour, Carbon dioxide, Methane, and Nitrous oxide.

 

The greenhouse effect is the way in which heat is trapped close to Earth’s surface by “greenhouse gases.” These heat-trapping gases can be thought of as a blanket wrapped around Earth, keeping the planet toastier than it would be without them.

Paper Tiger

Task description:  Today my reading task  was all about a little girl who found a paper tiger, somehow this paper  tiger was very special to Claire’s mother. The paper tiger was Claire’s mothers when she was young, Claire’s mother had two sisters when they were young Claire’s mum always got to choose first cause she was the youngest. When I was reading this book I really enjoyed this book because the story behind the paper tiger was very different to all  the books I have read.
